POD Venues & Spaces | torii Gate

A portal from the profane to the sacred. Pass through the gate onto the trail which will take you on an extraordinary journey along the lantern lit pathway leading to the Gratitude Canyon.

The POD torii gate has been made from 2 trees felled on the garden route and is inspired by a Japanese torii temple gate.

The torii, often painted bright red, demarcates the boundary between the sacred space of the shrine and ordinary space. Torii also identify other sacred spots, such as a mountain or rock.
