Join us for a transformative experience at our Cold Water Dipping retreat in the beautiful Karoo. Get ready to dive into the icy waters and embark on a journey of self-discovery and rejuvenation at the one and only Place of Dreams 2-4 August 2024

Cold Water Dipping

The benefits of cold water swimming are well-documented and plentiful.If you’re not into this kinda thing then please stop reading.For those who like to see the sun rise at DALEBROOK, ST JAMES TIDAL POOL, CAMPS BAY AND SAUNDERS IN SEAPOINT or just at home sitting in your water filled box freezer, come and broaden your horizons and bring your kryo gang to the Karoo for fun a filled weekend of relaxation and epic scenery.
Every morning, you’ll begin with an invigorating COLD WATER DIPPING session to awaken your body. This shall be followed by a Yoga class.

As far as the cold water dipping goes, here are your options:

Swim in the very scenic Infinity dam- Temp around 11-8 DegCel. We would recommend 20-30 min(you obviously go at your own pace, there are no min requirements)
Enter our 0.5x1x1.5m cold plunge pool- Temp of 3 DegCel. We won’t recommend more than 5 min at a time.

Relax, Enjoy, Explore

When we reach our limit, we’ll raise our core temperature by relaxing in the heated room whilst enjoying a cup of coffee. We’ll have a DJ playing tunes and a barista to keep the mugs full.

After a satisfying group brunch, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you choose. Explore nature walks, hop on a mountain bike. At night we have a braai, drink red wine and listen to beautiful live music.
