POD Easter Family Edition 2026

Family festival in the Tankwa Karoo’s Place of Dreams

Some gatherings don’t arrive fully formed — they grow.

POD Easter is one of them.

Since 2024, this Meerkat-inspired, family-focused weekend has quietly taken root at Place of Dreams. What began as a gentle invitation for families to gather has, year by year, revealed itself as something deeply meaningful — a space where parents, children, godparents and grandparents experience POD together, across generations.

By 2025, the rhythm was unmistakable.

The Canyon slowly filled as dusk settled in. Blankets were spread, popcorn passed hand to hand, and The Lion King echoed off ancient rock walls under a Karoo sky. Parents and children nestled together as the canyon transformed into an open-air cinema — one of those moments that reminds you why Place of Dreams exists in the first place.
That is the heart of POD Easter.
This weekend isn’t about packed schedules or ticking boxes. It’s about togetherness — creating space for healthy parent-and-child interaction, shared rituals, movement, play, rest and discovery.
Children roaming freely and safely.
Adults present and unhurried.
Families reconnecting — with each other, with nature, and with the ethos that defines POD.
We see POD Easter as a place where young “Poddies” are nurtured — so that one day they return, grounded in the same values their parents first fell in love with.

As we head into 2026, we return with the same intention that has guided this gathering from the start.

The full programme will be shared closer to the time, but the essence remains:
Thoughtful, family-centred experiences
Gentle wellness and movement woven into the day
Creative play, exploration and connection
Moments of stillness balanced with moments of celebration

If POD has ever felt like home to you, this is the weekend where that feeling is passed on.

We can’t wait to gather again.

To our POD Family & New friends

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we earnestly seek to foster an environment that is in full alignment with our BUNDU values. Hence, we kindly request that all new attendees complete an INTENTIONALITY FORM, with the aim of gauging your intentions, and how you wish to participate and contribute towards the success of our event. Through this avenue, we aspire to ensure each individual’s full engagement and empowerment, so that you may derive the most from the experience we have envisioned. We attest that this process is not one of exclusivity, but of inclusivity, aimed at securing the realization of our collective objectives. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and cannot wait to share this unmissable experience with you!
