That quiet is where Tankwa Classics lives — and this year, we’re expanding what fills it, while holding firmly to the intimacy that makes this weekend what it is.

The programme remains anchored by the musical curation of Elna van der Merwe — a considered blend of opera and classical interpretations of contemporary favourites, familiar enough to welcome and distinctive enough to surprise. Alongside it, we’ve added a full evening programme at the newly dubbed Bustop — The Party Bus — where the music holds itself to the same high standard, ticking the purist’s box while inviting the curious listener to discover something new.

On the wellness side, the Kalm Karoo Spa at the GA pavilion returns with a brand-new sauna, cold plunge, and an in-house masseuse, alongside Pilates sessions and, new to the programme this year, a Sound Journey paired with a yoga experience — everything you need to arrive at each day’s programme feeling as unhurried as the Karoo itself.
