The Place of Dreams (POD) Community recently took a delightful trip down memory lane, reminiscing about the incredible event that took place from October 20th to 25th, 2022 – the POD October Founding Festival Party. Although we apologize for the delay in sharing this news, we’ve been quite busy creating an even more extraordinary experience for our beloved community. So, let’s dive into the magical world of last year’s event!
Imagine gathering in the breath-taking canyon, surrounded by twinkling stars and positive vibes. In 2018, the POD adventure began with just twenty people dancing under the night sky. Little did they know that it would evolve into the extraordinary yearly event we know today, filled with energy, connection, and most importantly, fun!
The 2022 POD October Festival was nothing short of amazing, and we can’t help but relive the memories. The festival started with a captivating sunset opening ceremony at the enchanting Yoga Pavilion, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. As the sun bid farewell, an incredible lineup of DJs took centre stage, ensuring that every beat resonated with your soul.
One of the highlights of the festival was the Girl Power extravaganza, celebrating the fierce and fabulous women of our community. They showcased their talents and uplifted spirits, leaving everyone in awe of their brilliance.
But that’s not all! The Infinity Dam transformed into a silent disco, where party-goers donned their headphones and danced to the rhythm of their own groove. It was a surreal experience, immersing everyone in a world of music and movement.
Of course, no festival is complete without a party bus, and ours was truly epic! Aptly named, it became the ultimate rolling party venue, transporting attendees to new heights of excitement and delight.
The grand finale of the festival was the masked ball held in the majestic canyon amphitheatre. Imagine a night where everyone’s identity was concealed, creating an air of mystery and intrigue. The atmosphere was electric as festival-goers embraced the enchantment and danced the night away.
Throughout the event, the festival grounds were adorned with vibrant Psychedelic theatre dancers, mesmerizing projection mapping, and other delightful surprises. To keep everyone energised and hydrated, a food truck and thirst-quenching beverages were readily available.
Although this event happened nearly a year ago, the POD team is thrilled to finally share the news with you as we gear up for the upcoming October party in 2023. Be prepared for an even more fantastic and exclusive experience, as we expand into the all-new POD 2 space, welcoming new members to our ever-growing community.
So for those lucky ticket holders, prepare your dancing shoes, and get ready for five nights of unparalleled fun, flow, and “fabulosity” at the upcoming POD October Festival. We can’t wait to create new memories and celebrate together under the stars once again!
